‘Rocket Man’ is an artwork that I’ve been dying to paint. Since I was a kid, space, astronauts and rockets intrigued me to the point where I drew space ships and planets in my school books and any other loose paper I could find. NASA’s Space Shuttle will forever be engrained in my mind. The iconic orbiter, rocket boosters and external tank with a plume line of smoke during launch simply begged to be painted. This is an artwork that I simply cannot sell. It’s a personal favourite. There will, however be limited edition canvas prints available.
