‘Head In The Clouds’ My friends and family seem to say that my head is in the clouds often. That’s the truth, sometimes but for good reason. I love having my head in the clouds. Literally and figuratively. Disconnecting from the world, taking time to introspect or think about the future. This artwork is a slight meditation on Bram Bogart’s cloud paintings. His use of excessive amounts of self made paint is what started me on my journey many years ago and now I decided to interpret his style into my own cloudy sky with a small biplane hovering over a white cloud. This is a unique piece by every measure and although I have so many ideas on how to take this style of application further, this will be the only one of its kind for the next while.
