Numbers play a big role in most of my artworks and this ons is no exception. Nine tones of blue were placed on a canvas in random blobs and spread in a variety of directions to form a cloudy sky full of movement. This acted as the perfect backdrop for the nine Porsche 911’s I painted with fine detail. These span the 6 decades of its existence and add a splash of colour in a perfect 3 x 3 grid. Porsches are perhaps one of the biggest reasons I started painting as a little boy. I loved the look of these cars so much that I have been painting them for the past 11 years and still my love for them continues to grow ever more. It brings me so much joy that @Porsche is a proud supporting partner of HIGH, opening 2nd Oct in Berlin where you will be able to view this artwork in person.
