I have a theory that people do not become obsessed with the brand because of the products that they buy. They become obsessed with who the brand allows them to be. Who active web brands in Australia this year have convinced their customers that it's normal to camp outside before a store opening when the store isn't a pop-up. No, it is kind of crazy to be camping out for a store that isn't a pop-up store, but I want to break down strategically and consciously, what it actually means to position your brand to build community to be perceived. Context before we get it because it is the internet. I'm just a business strategist. I'm a mine set coach. I've been doing this for seven plus years with hundreds of female owned businesses. Strategic insight number one, powerful brands will always offer their customers, their clients levels of visibility. Now, as a consumer, this is what the visibility ladder looks like. There's four steps. Number one, I see the brand. I consume its content, I recognize the products. Number two, the brand sees me. I comment, I get acknowledge by the founder. I attend these events. Number three, the community sees me. I'm actively engaging with other customers, other people part of the brand's community. Moreover, the public sees me as an insider. I am associated with the brand. As a business owner, you need to remember that the higher customer moves on this ladder, the more psychologically invested they are in your brand and your products. Listen here is, don't just create content to be seeing. Create mechanisms so your buyer feel seen. I can tell you now 90% of the time when a brand founder says they want to community, they mean that they want visibility, they mean that they want people to be loyal to them, they want people to engage. But community actually evolves and develops when people share a sense of identity, rituals, a sense of meaning. True, loyal community has the customers saying being associated with this brand says something about who I am, and I like that. That of asking how can I be a community with my brand? I want you to instead ask yourself this. I create a shared world that people enter that they become someone inside of it. And of course, the last one subconscious inside. business owners, founders, you don't just want to have high engagement and viral videos. You want people to perceive your business and brand at the level you can visualize in your mind. Two questions to work on this. Number one, how do you perceive yourself as a business owner? And number two, what does my business need to consistently demonstrate for my ideal buyer to perceive it at the level that I want it to be perceived. Remember this, your customers, your clients buy the product once, but they stay because they like who they become.
