If I could give any word of advice to a founder or business owner, it would definitely be this one thing. That is the importance of understanding how the brain makes buying decisions. I hear a lot of people talk about sales psychology, and while that's definitely a valuable piece, I like to talk about something I call neurobranding. This is basically to leverage brand development and more specifically, brand strategy, to basically build the perception and overall reputation of the product or service you sell. The ability to be successful as a brand or to sell more products or services has very little to do with the product that you're selling. It has more to do with how you're activating the consumer's brain to make a buying decision. Going a little further, it's also tied to your ability to develop an emotional consumer connection for them to make habitual, routine purchases from. And turn into what I call brand advocates. The easiest way to turn a consumer's brain from making a purchasing decision or to start the process of making a purchasing decision is to lead with products or services, facts. People don't buy because details of the product as much as they buy what it creates for their life in reality and how they identify because of that. If you can develop a brand strategy and reverse engineer strategy accordingly, you will see such a shift in how your consumer content receives your content. Aren't your products, services, actually consumer connection, brand. Simultaneously guiding their brain to make decisions in favor of your business.
