I want you to be brutally honest. Not with me. With yourself. Because the answers to these three questions may completely change your healing journey. 1. Do I actually miss them… or do I miss the version of them I created in my mind? This is where people get stuck. You’re not remembering every argument. You’re not remembering the inconsistency. You’re not remembering the nights you cried yourself to sleep. You’re remembering the highlights. The “what ifs.” The potential. You’re grieving a future that never happened. Not just a person. 2. If I had never met them… what part of me would still be hurting today? This question is everything. Would you still struggle with rejection? Abandonment? People pleasing? Feeling like you have to earn love? If the answer is yes… Then the breakup didn’t create the wound. It revealed it. Now you know where your healing needs to begin. 3. Who am I becoming because of this pain? Not what have you lost. Not what they did. Who are you becoming? Are you becoming more bitter… Or more self-aware? More guarded… Or more emotionally mature? More resentful… Or more surrendered? Because pain will change you. The only question is… Will it make you harder… Or will it make you wiser? Here’s what I’ve learned. Healing isn’t measured by how little you think about them. It’s measured by how differently you think about yourself. The day you stop asking, “Why wasn’t I enough?” And start asking, “Why did I believe I had to earn love in the first place?” …is the day your healing truly begins. Your ex may have been the catalyst. But they are not the destination. The destination is becoming someone who never has to beg for what healthy love freely gives. This page is dedicated to helping people navigate heartbreak, attachment wounds, emotional pain, self-awareness, and deep reflection through brutal honesty, psychology, faith, and inward healing. Follow me for a deeper look within yourself where hard truths meet self-awareness, healing replaces self-abandonment, and understanding yourself becomes the key to unlocking the life God intended for you. #Love #healing #chriscarrillo #mirror #pain
