Wedding guest list hot take. One rule that my fiancé and I had when we were building out our guest list for our wedding was if you did not personally reach out and say congratulations to us when we got engaged, which, mind you, like the closest, closest people. Of course, we called and all those things. But then once we shared it like grand scale with friends and family, like if you did not personally reach out and like, even just like send a text that's all I'm asking for. If you didn't say congratulations at all and still haven't to this day, you have not made it to our guest list. We have been happily married now for almost 1 year.
