making wax cracking clay

I finally finished my hairspray crack squishy series… so naturally I had to make the next experiment even harder. 😂 This time I’m attempting wax crack clay from scratch. I bought the wax, stearic acid, lotion, a wax melter, and every supply I could find because I wanted to see if I could make those insanely satisfying wax cracking videos myself. I even challenged myself to build my own clay head, dip it in wax, let it cure, and hopefully get the perfect crack. I have absolutely no idea if I’m doing this correctly, but that’s honestly part of the fun. Think of this as Experiment #1. If it fails, we’ll learn. If it works… we’re about to unlock a whole new level of satisfying ASMR.
