You know it's August in Miami when I don't have children and I am pulling up the Miami-Dade County Public Schools 2026-2027 school year calendar to know when school is starting again so I can know when my life is going to be ruined by traffic again. Like I do this every single year because I cannot just be driving blind and all of a sudden it's like chaos outside. No, no, no. I need to know like exactly when these kids are back. I need to know exactly when the speed zones and the school zones and like all of that is back. That also means that we are officially done with like the beauty of an almost empty Miami.
