My gripe when these businesses do pop up stores in soho. Like I get that these businesses are small, but mode-mesh, like I got bamboozled into buying this dress that I saw on one influencer. Like it's a gorgeous dress, but it looks just cheap and it was $250. My boyfriend kept calling me Cinderella. And I went to go return it in the store in Soho. And not only were they like, oh, you need the dust bag that it came in. And I'm like, why would you package something in something that needs to be returned in? Like everybody knows when you buy stuff online, most things just get thrown away. But then she was like, wait, you bought this online, you have to initiate a return in store online and then get approved to be able to return it in store. So then I go to message the customer service line and I keep getting automated AI responses saying, please confirm your return on the online portal and then respond back saying agent. Customer service agent. And then they respond back with we are unable to process in store returns and by the way, your order is out of the return policy, so you can no longer do anything. And I'm like, hello, it was delivered yesterday. So I don't know, hopefully I'm just battling some dumb AI but like this is horrible customer experience and I want to like the brand, but like I'm not gonna buy anything else.
