Hook

Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
A lot of things don't sit right with me about weddings, but one that comes to mind recently is, like, when you're at the ceremony and they're, like, done getting married, and at the very end, the officiant is, like, on the mic, and they're like, now, for the first time, announcing Mister and Missus John Smith. And, like, everyone's clapping and they kiss and whatever. Why are we talking. Why are we saying just the man's name? Like, as if the woman in the equation, her first name doesn't even get mentioned. Like, that's fine if she's taking his last name, but why wouldn't you say, now announcing the Smiths? I think a lot of people are starting to do that. why is it tradition to say Mister and Missus John Smith? Like, the woman doesn't exist, like, she is a piece of property, as if she didn't plan this whole fucking wedding. Um, yeah, it's not sitting right with me. This morning, I just woke up and got pissed off.
