I'm in Martha's Vineyard and I'm so excited.

I'm in Martha's Vineyard and I'm so excited. I've never been anywhere like this. It's our first full day on the island. We flew in yesterday and right now we are going to bike to get coffee at a lighthouse and I'm so excited. We ended up walking instead of taking bikes because it was only a 30-minute walk from where we're staying in Aquinnah to Gay Head Lighthouse. There was also this adorable little kid selling fresh eggs on the side of the road, like so cute. When you get to the Gay Head Lighthouse, there's all these cute little local shops around it, so we did some shopping, got some coffee, and then you go to this like vista where you overlook the Gay Head cliffs into the ocean and it was so breathtaking, like I could not believe it. Then we ended up going back to the house and honestly having a day. We did so many different things. The first thing we did was go to the Chilmark General Store to get pizza and some things for the house and then we went to this cute little local artisans fair that had all different kind of like local artists doing pop-ups. Then we went to Vineyard Haven which is kind of like more popping part of the island with like a lot more shopping and different restaurants. I ended up only getting something from Vineyard Vines and I had to really restrain myself not to shop more. I got these like really cute shorts that have the Martha's Vineyard like island logo on them and they're only sold at the Vineyard, at least with that logo. And then I also got the black square toe Havaianas which are sold out everywhere, so I was really hype about that. Then it was time to get ready for my birthday dinner. We went to Outermost Inn which was like the most stunning property I've ever seen. Ended up getting really foggy but it was really pretty. The menu changes every season and it was just the best end to the most perfect day.
