If you’re unhappy at work and thinking about speaking up, read this first. One of the biggest mistakes high-performing employees make is believing that if they bring a problem to leadership, the company will automatically fix it. Too often, that’s not what happens. Behind closed doors, the conversation can quickly shift from: “How do we solve this?” to: “Are they still a good fit?” “Will this create bigger issues?” “Are they becoming a risk?” And suddenly, the focus isn’t on the workplace problem anymore. It’s on you. This is why so many talented professionals feel trapped in a toxic workplace. They speak up expecting change, but instead find themselves navigating office politics they never realized existed. Being right isn’t always enough. Understanding how workplace dynamics, leadership, and corporate politics actually work is what protects your career. Tell me honestly… At your company, do they fix the problem - or do they fix the person? #careeradvice #corporatelife #corporate #corporatetiktok #highachiever
