If your gut is telling you something changed at work, stop scrolling. If something feels off at work, let me tell you what's going on from the leadership side. A high performing woman would notice she's not invited to meetings anymore. She's losing opportunities, projects are going to somebody else. And she comes to her boss and says, what's going on? But here's the part that nobody tells you. A leader either can't or won't tell you what's going on. So they're gonna tell you that everything's fine. Keep going, stay in the course. You're gonna waste all of your energy trying to get clarity on something you're never gonna get the straight answer on. So stop trying to get clarity and reassurance on what your gut is telling you and start asking different questions. I put the questions to ask yourself in the comments because the goal isn't reassurance. The goal is what your next move is. Your gut already told you the truth through this right now. Comment insider. Let's talk.

Most likely if something feels off at work - it is. Don’t wait months for someone to tell you what you already know - something is off, something needs to change, or something is changing. The mistake most high-performing women make is trying to get certainty from leadership before they give themselves permission to ask bigger questions. Questions like: • If everything went back to normal tomorrow, would I actually be happy? • Am I upset because I love this role... or because I feel rejected? • Have I outgrown this job but haven't admitted it yet? • If another company offered me the same position tomorrow, would I take it? • Am I looking for certainty... or avoiding a decision? Because the goal isn't to figure out whether leadership is telling you the truth. The goal is figuring out what YOU want next.
