My boyfriend and I love to talk about business and marketing and I'm gonna tell him the story of how I just got sold to on an Instagram ad in seconds from a brand I've never heard of dropped $150 and off one ad off one ad first time conversion right away. Did not second guess it were you in the market for whatever they were selling? I was not even in the market. So let's let's do a little straight to the ad. Okay, here we go. Okay, so first off this is for a brand called an inedito. Basically I'm just tapping through my social media as one does and this ad pops up on my screen and we have to show the ad because it was a phenomenal ad. They had a very unique product, which is this purse that is like in all the cool colors. It's like a very fast-paced ad with like cool music and like a fun little text on screen just popping up and I was like, oh my god, these are so cute. What the heck? So I click onto the website. Website says handmade clutches. So everything's handmade. I'm like, ooh, small business, love small business. I saw the price and I was like, oh, this is like not crazy. I thought it was gonna be like $200, which would have been a turn off. But it was 115. I see that. They don't have a ton of options and so it was really easy for me to make a decision. Remember I showed you? I was like, do you like this one or this one? And you're like, I like this one. I liked it too. They also had a ton of UGCs. So like it wasn't just the model photoshoots. They had beautiful imagery as well, like a proper photoshoot. But they had like what the product looks like in real life. So I didn't have to assume. And then this is the part where I got confused. They had three sizes, which is similar to like a clothing brand. That's where you get stuck. What size do I pick? But then on the next slide, they had like showing me the different sizes with the call out like, this is mini, this is medium, this is big. So it's so easy. I want medium done. And then I was like, do I really want this? I really want this. It's handmade, it's a small business, it's unique. It's not like every other product I've seen. It's a good price. This price makes sense. And then they hit me with the shipping fees. And this is the only other part where I hesitated. It was like 26 euros on shipping bro. Bro, what? Like shipping? Oh, do I have to pay duties? I don't know. I didn't even think about that. I'm probably gonna be charged with duties. Return ha ha ha. Sorry bag. Oh, that is a little bit of a turn off. Cause now this $115 purchase has turned into a $250. Anyways, I ended up buying it. I don't regret it. I'm actually really excited cause it's a really unique piece at a good price and it's handmade. What does that mean? What is handmade mean? She makes them herself. Just like one person making them. That's what the website made me feel. Ha ha ha ha because the word handmade. Are your are your dresses handmade? Technically yes. By someone. Love I was sold so hard. I literally fell for it. No, I think it said like handmade like let me hold on. Hold on. We're checking. Okay, now that we have more information. The image is what I assume is the founder in her bedroom. And it says handmade bags and she like is holding up making them. So like I imagine she's making them by herself. But we actually don't really know. Do we know? It's the founder or is that just a person? It just like it's making me assume some things and it's working. So I'm sure that's her overall. Let's do summary. Amazing ad draws you in, really unique product, unique product price that makes sense. Don't overcomplicate it. Have some sort of like element that makes it unique, like a handmade bag. And um, answer all my objections right there with like UGC and sizing and all that stuff. And apparently I don't mind about paying a $26 fee. Hopefully I don't have to pay crazy duties. That's all. Yeah, you hit it on the head. I think they killed it.
