Let me get this straight. Congress just confirmed a new CDC director after the agency spent a year without a permanent leader because apparently the organization tracking pandemics, disease outbreaks, food safety, health was just operating on vibes. Y'all operating on vibes for 12 months. Wonder why giving us all diarrhea. Anyways, imagine calling them saying, "Sorry, managers right now." Anybody turns a left thing. Can we all agree that the centers for disease without permanent for a year is objectively wild? Years arguing about masks, vaccines, public health, government overreach. And somehow everyone looked at the CDC and said, "We'll figure the leadership thing." Meanwhile, Americans are over here trying to decipher whether the latest health warning is serious or if it's just another Tuesday. At this point, an American means waking, checking the news and asking yourself, "Are we getting healthcare policy today or a season finale plot twist?" Apparently the answer to all of the above. The world's most powerful country really does run on caffeine and chaos. Just like me.
