Dior just dropped their on set loose setting powder and we need to get into this review and like always I'm gonna keep it real with you guys. These retail for $56 and are available in five shades. Dior is calling this their new ultra blurring loose setting powder. The packaging is absolutely stunning but girl who really cares about the packaging? I need to know what this formula is gonna give. These are talc free and they're also infused with hyaluronic acid and also contain ingredients like silica, silicones, vitamin E and they're also fragrance free. If you're sensitive to fragrance, keep that in mind. For $56 I need blur, I need smooth and I still want my under eyes to look like skin. This is supposed to be ultra blurring with a luminous matte finish. And I'm really hoping that this does not leave a sheen underneath the eyes. It also claims to be waterproof with a 24 hour oil control and a 24 hour makeup wear. That's waterproof and lightweight and it's supposed to leave you with like a veil like finish. I do have two shades. We have the shade translucent and zero one fair. Here's the shade zero one fair. And that looks like it's holding a lot of pigment. I'm curious to see what this is going to look like on the skin. This is not as finely milled as I was expecting. It's clinging onto my dry skin. I think we're gonna go in with the shade translucent. Just to also brighten up the under eyes. Giving a lot of pigment. This one's giving straight up cornstarch. I'm going to take that powder on the powder puff but also making sure to tap off the excess. And then there's going to be no fallout. Let's just go in and set the under eyes. Zoom you guys in so you can really see how that blurred out my pores so beautifully. I'll say it does look a little bit drying, nothing too crazy, but I still haven't went in and set my face with a setting spray. It's not looking as powdery as it was when I first applied it. This also feels super lightweight and super smooth underneath the eyes. These definitely do have pigment to them. Even though I went in with the shade translucent, I feel like the color is still a little bit noticeable underneath the eyes. So my first impression, I think this powder looks absolutely gorgeous.
