Most of us hate Agile because Agile was never in place in the first place. The way most companies have implemented it feels like micromanagement of sticky notes. Agile was meant to break down the barriers of, bureaucracy and large companies and allow us to move faster. But what ended up happening is it turned into a buzz term that meant a lot of companies sent managers through abbreviated Agile training, came back and said, we're Agile now, guys. Really? All they did was skip over discovery in the name of being Agile and implement what felt like never ending sprints that didn't improve agility or velocity at all. And then management was walking around talking about how MVP. be and how be able to fail fast when every single employees is afraid of what happens if they do make or they do fail. And the control that Agile was developed to dissipate and break down was never released in the first place to allow the agility to flow. This match up saw when you went Agile? Tell me in the comments.
