same different school year let's cook a one pot dinner tonight this one's only a few ingredients and it's super simple but it is packed with flavor once my butter's melted I'm gonna add in a couple of yellow onions I've cut them in half and then sliced them thin like this we're gonna cover these up and let them cook for about 15 20 minutes until they're soft and golden brown every once in a while just check on them stir them around if they're getting too dry or they're browning too fast adjust your heat or add a little splash of water okay while these are cooking we're gonna stir together a few cups of beef stock or broth whatever you got some pepper Worcestershire and a package of onion soup mix onions are looking damn good we're gonna add this beef stock mixture in once that's at a boil we're gonna put in our pasta I'm using rigatoni but you know what I'm gonna tell you use whatever kind of pasta you like we're gonna cover it back up and we'll let it cook for about 10 to 12 minutes till the pasta is done stir it once in a while okay pasta's looking good we're gonna stir in a little bit of heavy cream I'm gonna top mine with slices of Swiss cheese cut the heat cover it back up and let it sit for about three or four minutes until that cheese is melted imma throw a little parsley on mine uh just for no other reason than I had it in the pantry and I wanna feel cute there you go sis you just made French onion pasta all in one pot and it also just happens to be page 47 out of the Every Damn Day chapter of Keep It Simple Y'all Every Day you can pick up a copy of this wherever you like to buy your books alright y'all know we're trash around here we eat straight out of the pan so let's get a big old bite that'll do it right there y'all come fix you a bowl of this I'll have the grocery list and the cookbook right here for you
