Okay, Madewell/Gap alternatives if you hate fast fashion pt 2. This time shipping to the US and Canada. Which is actually crazy. I posted a video about a Madewell/Gap alternative for my gals who hate fast fashion and it totally popped off. My standards anyway. But they don't even currently ship to the US. Womp womp. Which is completely my bad. But please keep in mind, I do have a day job. So two or three ethical sustainable brands that give off that relaxed but elevated feel. First is Armedangels. Actually a perfect example of relaxed but elevated. Such a cool brand that's part of the Fair Wear Foundation, and they invest in living wage programs and uses eco-certified fabrics. Moving on to the denim of it all. Gap and Madewell are pretty well known for their use of denim. Outland Denim will give you your denim fix and styles like jeans, jackets, etc. etc. More importantly, it's actually one of the more documented and traceable denim brands. Being B Corp certified, GOTS organic cotton certified, and they have a supplier code of conduct and supply chain transparency. Last is The Standard Stitch, for the basics and everyday kind of style. A LA-based brand with a localized extensive supply chain, material certifications, and a vendor code of ethics. Overall, you guys had a lot of requests from my last video. Some very niche requests, and I will slowly be getting through that. But excited to have you all here to discuss all things ethical and sustainable.
