Sitting in this chair feels a little intimidating. Hello, no one's forcing you to do this. Actually people are asking you not to. Anyways, let's start at the day that everything went public. At this point in my life, I wasn't really on social media, at least not in a public way. And I had only been separated for about a week and a half, maybe two weeks. Which if you've been through a divorce, you know that the first month feels like you're truly living hour by hour. And I was 100% in that space of like, let's take it hour by hour. So anyways, I remember I was just at the park with my grandpa and my son and we were eating lunch and my phone was literally blowing up. And when I finally stepped away to look at it, I just remember being like the world is closing in on me. I genuinely was like, this is it. At this point in my life, I honestly was just trying to trap my own head around everything. And then all of a sudden, thousands of people had an online version of the story and like that obviously came with their opinions and extra rumors. And I just remember thinking like, this isn't my life. Side note, if you think it's embarrassing to have to tell your family everything happening in your personal life, imagine reading and listening to versions of it online. 10 out of 10 don't recommend. I also just remember thinking like, well, this wasn't part of the plan. If you know me, I definitely don't like to have a plan. However, I do think my mindset of what a plan is has definitely changed. Like the easiest place to start is to give some insight into my life before this point and then eventually talk about life after this point and then where I am at. Anyways, thanks for listening and let's do this crazy thing together.
