Hook

My lore in 1 minute, let's go. I went to college, met my husband, blackout at a frat party, made out with him in front of everybody and never let him escape me since then. My junior year, I left my SEC college because I made a professional dance team back home, finished my degree mostly online in my hometown, lived at home, was cheering at an NBA game at halftime at a costume change. My coach called me over and gave me the phone and told me that my dad was killed by a distracted driver in an accident, got raised home, you know, the whole nine. Couple months after that, my boyfriend at the time proposes to me at an NBA game in front of everybody, um, really drunk, but it was sweet. We're engaged for a few months and I find out that I'm pregnant on an IUD. Go in to have my first OB appointment, mind you I'm 23 or 24, scared shitless, and she sees a bump on my neck and tells me, oh my god, we need to biopsy that. Go to get the biopsy, it's thyroid cancer, it's metastasized to my lymph nodes and we need to operate on me at 17 weeks pregnant. 17 weeks pregnant was the week after my wedding, come home from my wedding and my honeymoon, immediately have the surgery, go into the surgery, there's so much cancer around my windpipe that a 4-hour surgery ended up taking him 11 hours, gets out all the cancer, calls my husband, says they lost the baby's heartbeat 5 minutes later, tells my husband just kidding, the baby is still alive, we found the heartbeat. Go home and pregnant, 2 weeks before I have the baby, COVID-19 gets announced to the public, go into the hospital, have my baby at 24 years old, scared shitless, alone without my mom or any real adult, bring her home, raise her for a year during COVID while we're working from home in our entry-level jobs with the baby at home, stop breastfeeding so that I can complete my radiation, while I'm radioactive iodine for my cancer treatment. Decide during all of this time while I'm stuck at home during COVID at 24 with a new baby broke, that I'm going to start a new career and go into tech sales while I'm still actively dealing with the cancer situation and my newborn. Anyways, that's my lore. Follow me if you want, I don't know, bye.
