NETFLIX JUST STARTED PROMOTING A NEW SHOW THAT'S ALL EXCEPT WHAT IT'S ACTUALLY ABOUT IS A CANADIAN NATIONAL TRAGEDY. BUNCH OF PROMO WAS YESTERDAY ALL EXCITED ABOUT THIS NEW SHOW CALLED THE STICKS. IMMEDIATELY PEOPLE STARTED MAKING OFF CAMPUS HEATED RIVALRY JOKES. THIS IS NOT A HOCKEY ROMANCE THIS IS NOT NETFLIX CASHING IN ON THIS. WHAT THIS IS, IS EVEN WORSE. THIS SHOW IS ABOUT A WIDOW TAKING OVER A HOCKEY TEAM BECAUSE HER HUSBAND, A BUNCH OF PLAYERS WERE KILLED IN AN ACCIDENT. AND IF THAT THAT'S BECAUSE IN 2018, CANADA HAD A NATIONAL TRAGEDY WHERE A BUS FULL OF HOCKEY PLAYERS, JUNIOR TEENAGE AGED HOCKEY PLAYERS CALLED THE HUMBOLDT BRONCOS, ACCIDENT WITH A SEMI TRUCK AND 16 PEOPLE DIED AND 13 PEOPLE WERE INJURED, SOME OF THEM PERMANENTLY PARALYSED. THAT HAS BEEN AN ACTUAL NATIONAL TRAGEDY THAT PEOPLE LITERALLY PUT HOCKEY STICKS OUT ON THEIR AND LEFT A LIGHT ON FOR THESE KIDS, THAT AND YOU TURNED IT INTO NOTIFYING ANYONE. YOU SAID IT AND THEN YOU TURNED IT INTO LIKE OVERCOMING ADVERSITY KIND OF STORY. BUT YOU ALSO FILMED IT IN SO THE BACKGROUND ACTORS, THE PEOPLE WOULD HAVE ALSO GOING THROUGH THIS AS WELL, KNOWING, NEEDED THE WORK, BUT KNOWING THAT THAT HAPPENED IN AND WAS STILL FRESH IN, IN OUR MEMORIES. I PERSONALLY AM REALLY DISGUSTED BY THIS MOVE BY I CAN'T BELIEVE GOT MADE AT ALL. AND I HAVE A LOT OF CANADIANS ARE GOING TO BE EXTREMELY MAD. I KNOW THAT THEY'VE ALREADY BEEN EXTREMELY MAD WHEN IT WAS ANNOUNCED BUT I THINK SEEING THESE PROMOS AND SEEING THE BEING PROMOTED AND VERY EXCITED AND EVERYBODY'S SO HAPPY ABOUT IT. I THINK IT'S THINGS A LOT

Netflix just started promoting a new show that's all except what it's actually about is a Canadian national tragedy. Bunch of promo was yesterday. All excited about this new show called The Sticks. Immediately people started making off campus heated rivalry jokes. This is not a hockey romance. This is not Netflix cashing in on this. What this is, is even worse. This show is about a widow taking over a hockey team because her husband, a bunch of players were killed in an accident. And if that, that's because in 2018, Canada had a national tragedy where a bus full of hockey players, junior teenage aged hockey players called the Humboldt Broncos, accident with a semi truck and 16 people died and 13 people were injured, some of them permanently paralysed. That has been an actual national tragedy that people literally put hockey sticks out on their and left a light on for these kids. That and you turned it into notifying anyone. You said it and then you turned it into like overcoming adversity kind of story. But you also filmed it in so the background actors, the people would have also going through this as well, knowing, needed the work, but knowing that that happened in and was still fresh in, in our memories. I personally am really disgusted by this move by Netflix. I can't believe got made at all. And I have a lot of Canadians are going to be extremely mad. I know that they've already been extremely mad when it was announced, but I think seeing these promos and seeing the being promoted and very excited and everybody's so happy about it. I think it's things a lot
