Y'all seen those videos about people saying, being too thick at work is embarrassing? Or being too thick in general is just embarrassing sometimes in certain places? I'm gonna put on my I'm too woke hat, okay? So I think that generally comes from the school systems and how dress codes were working for a little black girls and also brown girls as well, because little black girls were always police. A lot heavier than their white counterparts. Here's why. When little black girls are. Hmm, how do I say this? Developing. Well, yes, like, when little children are developing more, especially like little black girls who end up being curvier, or even children in general who end up growing a bigger chest quicker than their other classmates, they are seen to be more inappropriate whenever they dress anything. Like, if a child was to wear a T-shirt, maybe that T-shirt is tighter on their chest than it is on other people who do not have a big chest. Things of that nature. But it's really prevalent when it comes to black children because black children tend to sometimes be curvier than their white counterparts. Right. The people teachers usually place them in the school system usually place them saying, oh, what you're wearing is too provocative, or you're too grown or X, y, Z. Like, if a grown man looks at a little girl who is a little curvier at her age, and her counterparts then be like, oh, She's fast. She's too grown. Right. Then get these little black girls growing up to be black woman and saying that I want to be in a work space and wanna cover up their body, their natural body that they have, they didn't do anything to it. Even if you did work out for a big ass. Love to see it. Go work out. Your body actually needs the muscle. And they end up being embarrassed in the workplace, too, because they've been policed their entire lives to look a certain way and to be tinier and to take up less space. This also goes into fat phobia and white supremacy as well, obviously, because everything goes back to fat phobia and white supremacy. Yeah. So, yes, do. I think everything correlates in how people are raising black children to be and to be black adults who are kind of confined in their own selves and who are always restricting themselves and embarrassed of their own bodies. Yes, but that is what I have seen as a black woman who grew up naturally thin and saw, like my childhood counterparts who just grew up a little bit thicker,
