who’s excited for hobonichi season 🙋 #hobonichi #hobonichiweeks #hobonichicousin #journaltok Hobonichi season is around the corner and the full month of previews starts tomorrow. So I thought I would talk you through some of the Hobonichis I've used in the past, what I'm using right now and what I'm thinking of using going into 2027. Last year I started using a Hobonichi in July. So first I got a Hobonichi cousin, a Vec, and this really launched me into like the Hobonichi world. I used this mostly for journaling, really like to get into um testing out layouts. As you can see I mostly do the same one. I will say the weekly pages not something I really used a ton, but the back, it wasn't like a huge super matter. And I loved it so much that I ended up getting this tomato red color, which I think is so gorgeous and this became my work planner and I have to say love work planner. Like this is like become my writer die. I used to take notes in the back. I plan weeks. This year I decided to go full send with a Hobonichi cousin. Spoiler alert, this didn't last. Um, it got chunky, uh, and difficult to carry around because of how heavy it was. And again, like I wasn't using the weekly pages and the cousin really like a lot of pressure. I wasn't using them, was feeling like I was wasting pages. So in April to notebook, this has been really good for me to just be able to write, not even worry about layouts, although I kind of like layouts also, but then I also just have some writing like this. And this has made a big difference because I don't feel the pressure to do it every day. What I also have this year is my weeks. Plaid shirt fabric one and this comes with me everywhere. It's my work planner. Like I'm everything every week looks different, but really like this. This is my everything planner. So planning to continue this in 2027 alongside weeks, I think decided the nice balance between a cousin and just a plain notebook is Hobonichi free. So I'm going to be getting A5 free, which doesn't have the weekly sections. It just has the like monthly, which I do enjoy. I don't like use them a lot, but I think I could find something to do with them. Bunch plain pages journaling, which basically look like this, but like without the dates. So I'm really excited about that and I'm really excited to see what weeks patterns we get. I've enjoyed the shirt fabric. I've enjoyed. So who knows? What about Hobonichi season?
