I started the video and I said what else do I need to say. Today's Everything Shower + Bodycare Routine. I had an amazing time in New York, especially doing my market research. I go around to all the stores and I see what's new and what's not new, what I've tried, what I haven't tried. First, we're going to start with what I exfoliated with. As someone who was sweating profusely in the New York heat, I had to go in with two different exfoliants today. Both of them are from Supernova Body. That Power Play, which is their two-in-one cleansing polish + body mask. And then we have the Smooth Operator, which is going to be their tri-phase resurfacing body scrub. To combat the body acne, I use Power Play on the torso to target the waist down. I went in with Smooth Operator. This is a little too strong for my arms and shoulder areas, so I like to use it on specific parts of the body. Elbows, knees, thighs, calves. This, however, is gentle for all over body use, but because it's smaller, I like to use it only up here. The colada souffle is going to make sure that I get rid of any breakouts that I may have, while also preventing new ones alongside the salicylic acid and the kaolin clay. I would highly recommend this if the summer has been really tearing your skin to fuck up. However, I would recommend this if you're struggling with dry patches, hyperpigmentation, texture, any of the sort. Crazy duo. I'll be feeling plush as ever, but I did need to obviously cleanse. That's where this comes in. This is going to be Flamingo Estate's Heirloom Tomato Soap Bar. Flamingo Estate creates a lot of different things. In particular, they make a lot of natural scents. I know there's a lavender soap, I know there's a peppermint one, there's a Damascus, there's a fig one. This is so pure. If you love the way they've tomato candle, you would love this, I'm sure. I do find that a lot of bar soaps are stripping to my skin. This one, however, was not. After using my scrub, I felt properly cleansed. I love the scent. I feel like I smell like a little tomato. And after this, I obviously had to finish my shower with something just as natural, but also something a little bit more sensual. That's when I went in with 39BC's Fig Milk Shower Oil. I've been waiting to try this. As you cannot find this typically in the US, I had to get this from C.O. Bigelow in the West Village. Well, I have a lot of thoughts on this. It is not my favorite shower oil to use, but it does moisturize the skin and it's exactly what I needed for. It's a very pure fig scent. It's not a juicy fig, it's more of the stem and the greenness of the fig. It complements the soap bar very well and it also makes sure that my skin wasn't bone dry after how much exfoliation I did. This does lather, but it is a bit difficult for me to lather even on my loofah, which I don't find pleasant. But all in all, I do really enjoy the scent and I do really enjoy the fact that it did not dry out my skin. I have another fig body wash that I also want to talk to you guys about soon, but not today. Now we can talk about everything after the shower, because this is where it gets good. So today I did not go in with oil first. I did still use it. I went in with Ontu's Your Body Brightening Serum. I've said it before, but I am not the body serum customer, meaning that I don't find them necessary in a routine. But considering I did exfoliate a lot, I didn't want to put on something that made sure that my skin had a little bit extra hydration. Perfectly lightweight and not sticky. It dries down quickly and leaves you with no residue. This is a really good first impression to the brand. I do have everything else from them. So I want to see how their body wash and body lotions incorporate into my routine. Good choice though. For the body serum I went in with my favorite body oil, which is the OSEA's Undaria Algae Body Oil. I have talked about this oil endlessly. It is the perfect consistency. It is the perfect finish on dry or damp skin, preferably on damp skin. It really seals everything in. The scent is very pleasant on the nose. I keep talking about it as much as I do because it's one of the only oils that I use that does not leave my skin dry a few hours after applying. It is an oil made to not just give you the finish of radiance skin, but help you actually achieve it. So I have to make sure I put that in there. Those two had already provided a lot of hydration, but I needed a little bit more obviously. So I went in with Sidia's The Cream in Midas. When I think of body lotions, I think of something lightweight and not as heavy as a cream or butter, but substantial enough for daily use. Substantial. This is a very lightweight texture, but a little also goes a long way with it. One pump is this much. This is the finish of one application. It didn't cause any of my other products to pill. It didn't irritate my skin in any way. It made a perfect first impression and I will be keeping this in the routine. To counteract the natural fig and tomato scents in this routine, I want to add in something a little bit sweet. This is going to be Josie Maran's Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter in the scent 'In Bed'. I recently celebrated the release of this fragrance. And if you are someone who enjoys more cozy, sensual scents, this is going to be in that realm. Vanilla vibes is going to be very sugary, candy vanilla, whereas 'In Bed' is going to be vanilla musk, cashmere and tonka bean. From my experience with Virtuous Finley, I think they do a great job in making sure that the notes that you want to smell are prevalent throughout the entire process of wearing the fragrance. I will smell like this for the rest of the day. From my last finishing touch, I did go in with Ontu's Your Hands and Heels Miracle Moisturizing Treatment with 15% Urea + Glycolic Acid. Immediately, I don't wear the best shoes for walking 20,000 steps in, so I want to use this on my hands and heels. I really want to make sure that my hands are taken care of. I think this will be fine for that too. And that is everything I used in today's everything shower and routine. Everything smelled perfect, everything felt perfect, and I feel and look amazing today. If you have any questions about the products, feel free to let me know. I will definitely be talking about them further in the future. You have a wonderful day. I will talk to y'all soon. Bye.
