I haven't washed my hair in seven days
and in this summer heat my hair feels so gross
so let's do an everything shower reset
I can't believe I went that long without washing my hair
but I feel like in summertime you just get so busy and you have no time for yourself
so today I'm taking my time
and starting with a scalp exfoliating treatment
this is gonna get all that greasiness out
also I've been experiencing so much texture on the back of my arms
because I used a dull razor
so I'm gonna use this peeling solution from The Ordinary to tackle that and hopefully it works
moving on to my face
I badly need to shave my facial hair
trying to get every last drop
because when I put makeup on it just doesn't sit right
so we're gonna shave this
and never ever forget to disinfect your razor
unless you wanna break out
I do this about once a month
even my skincare products absorb a lot better
in the shower
I use this deeply clarifying shampoo from Biolage
and it was the best feeling in the world
I feel so clean and fresh
but it does not end here
we're gonna start with body care
and I'm gonna rehydrate my skin
especially after doing that chemical exfoliant
locking it all in with a really good smelling body oil
and then moving on to skin
after shaving my skin gets a little sensitive so
I have to calm it down with some ice
for skincare I'm gonna keep it very simple
and just use hydrating and hypoallergenic products
running out of my fave serum 😭
so it doesn't irritate my skin
this Aveeno moisturizer literally feels like a comforting warm hug for for your skin
I only have 30 minutes to style my hair
so I'm gonna try something different
but first
I always like to apply a leave in conditioner
and a heat protectant and a hair serum to lock it in
usually I do a full blow out using rollers
but today I really don't have time
so I'm gonna use my round brush
and style my hair with this
but then to really set the curls
I'm gonna put some socks in
