I spent $1,000 at Iowa State Fair the Iowa State Fair Iowa State Fair just kidding here's what I actually spent the rain could not keep us away okay the butter sculptures we had to get our free eggs Free! honestly the rain gave us time to do all of the inside stuff with the free little dips Free! love a free sample Taylor wanted to try the All American Scrambled Egg Roll from Winn and Sara's Kitchen they've won like two years in a row Taylor gave me a bite: $0 (Otherwise $15) we both said it was good but not like the best thing we've ever had and then she convinced me Donut: $5 to try one of these glazed donuts but it was delicious and I had to get this Garlic parmesan pretzel dog Garlic parmesan pretzel: $13 I loved it but you could had to get the free ice cream sample Free! as well as a free little lemonade sample Free! we figured we should Strawberry lemonade: $9 drink something which was perfect and then we drank it the big boar show this guy won that pig weighs over 1200 pounds also I love seeing all the art and then we were on the hunt for the butter dipped you can get this with vanilla Butter dipped ice cream: $6 ice cream or butter beer in a cone or in a cup ask for the cup because this immediately starts melting neither of us really liked the salt on top and my final review is this is weird I finished eating it but I don't think I would ever buy another one had to stop in and see all of the baked goods my friend Lauren made some of these and then she was there and then she was like hey do you want a bite of this hot chocolate Tres Leches brownie Free! I think it's what it was anyways very good another free sample ended the day with one last free sample on our way out making my total $33 Total: $33
