Here are three signs that you are not going to make it as a young king. You really wanna fucking make it? We're all gonna make it. But not all of us. A bunch of y'all motherfuckers are not gonna make it. And here are three signs. You're on the wrong path. You're not going to actually make it to the promised land where you have the internship, the friend group, the money, the dating life, all the things that you really want. Number one, you cannot be differential to men who are higher status than you. If you cannot shut the fuck up and listen to men that are higher on the status hierarchy, that are further along in this game called life than you are, you are never going to make it in investment banking, in law, in medicine, in any hierarchical field, right? In entrepreneurship. When you start to sniff out that there's a guy who's asking you for advice, and then he comes in big dick swinging. He's hitting you with the down tone, telling you what to do. He's telling you to send out the email after the call, absolutely, positively fried. And the guys that do make it are hungry, are willing to listen, put their egos to the side, even if their big brother's a little bit of a dick, even if their boss a little bit of a dick, even if the guy who's telling you what to do. And you can feel it's not really coming from a place of love. You gotta silence that shit and just soak up the wisdom. Social life in friend groups, there's gonna be a guy that's way more well-connected, the guy who all the girls like, the guy who has it all going on. And if you can't shut the fuck up, laugh at some of his jokes, play the game, you're gonna get booted out of the group real fast. This is life. There's politics, there's egos. And as a man, you gotta shut the fuck up, grab a spoon, and eat shit in your early twenties. That's how it's done. And yes, there are toxic boss out there that you actually wanna leave. There are friend groups out there that are way too oriented around the group leader, and you should probably just exit that situation. But in general, being able to put your ego to the side, being able to get some coaching, to soak up wisdom, to learn from right, to use two ears before you use your one mouth, gonna take you way fucking further than trying to always be the boss. Number two, you cannot admit when you've made a mistake. In my twenties, I've been fired from my dream internship, okay? I've blown up living situation, screwed up royally with women, okay? But when I fuck up, when I mess up in a relationship that really matters to me, I apologize. And you keep pushing. Sometimes you gotta ride out the karmic waves. You gotta just accept life's gonna be kinda down for a little bit, cause you deserve it. But if you keep it pushing and you keep trying, this universe and world is extremely forgiving, bro. Dudes just go out there and file bankruptcy, run it up again. Number three, you don't try or you criticize the dudes that actually are trying. It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing to make content. It's embarrassing to start a business. It's embarrassing to go across the bar, right? We're not just hanging out against the wall. Where the hoes at? You're actually the dude that's playing in traffic. You gonna make it. On the flip side, if you're doing these three things, I'm hammering your stock. You're gonna be super successful. It's literally only a matter of time. Shit that's really hard for you right now is gonna get easier down the road.
