I've been dying to try the lunch in my city trend. If you don't know what that is, you basically search lunch in my city and then the TikTok search bar and then go to the first place that pops up. Being that I live in New York City, this is where I'm having lunch today. And as a girl who loves Mexican food, I am so excited right now. These tacos look insane. So let's go have lunch together in New York City. We made it to Santo Taco. I'm so excited right now. We have a very simple menu, but a lot of good options. I think I'll do the first steak taco and then the shrimp taco please. Insert, swipe, or tap to pay. Refreshers sounded so good, so I got the watermelon drink. It was perfectly sweet and so refreshing. And with the agave. It was perfect. I also had pineapple cucumber one that I want to get next time. Now for the star of the show, I got two tacos. The first one being the steak trompo. It had strip and sirloin with avocado salsa on top. It was very thin and seasoned so nicely. The steak was cooked perfectly and it was very easy to chew. I've had steak tacos before where I get like weird pieces and it's not enjoyable to eat. This was perfect. For my second taco, I went down the seafood route and got the shrimp taco, which had shrimp, cabbage, and salsa as well. It also had this like chili oil situation on top. I think it was chili oil, but it added so much to the flavor. Although I really love the flavor of this one, I feel like the steak has to be my favorite. If you're looking for a quick casual lunch spot, I highly recommend Santo Taco.
