I went to Martha's Vineyard for the first time this summer but this is what I would do differently for next summer. First, I would try to get a combination in Oak Bluffs. I spent a lot of time there and although I loved it, the salt water pool at our house was pretty far and we had to take Ubers everywhere, which added up pretty quickly and with traffic, took a long time to get into town. Next, I would make reservations ahead of time because they were not taking anyone without a reservation during August because it was so busy. I would also try the Polar Bears, which is water aerobics every morning at 7:30 AM at Inkwell Beach. I went to the Polar Bears, which was great, but I wanted to try the yoga session. For tennis, I would remember to pack my clay court shoes because all of the country clubs, but all of the public courts are hard courts. I didn't know that, so I didn't have proper shoe wear for my session. I would also rent bikes for longer. I rented a bike for one day and although it was amazing, I wish I had had them a little bit longer to explore. Last but not least, I wish I would have packed a rain coat. I forgot that it rains on the East Coast since I've been living in LA. But overall, I had an amazing trip to Martha's Vineyard.
