Let's go cut all this hair off When I posted that AI photo of me and that pixie cut on my stories a couple weeks ago, y'all was like, do it, do it, do it. And while y'all were encouraging me to do it, it was something that was already heavily on my mind. As much as I wanted a middle part sew-in to be my signature look, I just feel like that was not for me. My edges was falling out, y'all, and I knew getting a pixie was something I really wanted. I found Zelda here on TikTok, went to her Instagram, and look at her work, you guys. Her work was impeccable. I knew that I wanted to go to someone who specialized in pixies. She is from Chicago, but she recently moved here to Houston, and I knew that I could trust her with the look that I was going for. My hair is naturally curly, and I knew I did not want like a curly wet looking type of pixie. So I decided to get a relaxer. This is my very first time ever getting a relaxer. I've never even had color on my hair. As soon as I sat in her chair, you guys, we started yapping and vibing, and she did not warn me when she was going in with those scissors, okay? She just went in right away and started cutting. And I absolutely loved it. I started to feel like so much lighter when she started cutting on my hair. I was so excited. So the full service that I'm getting today is a big chop, then the relaxer, a wash, and then a steam and hydration treatment. And I love that. The steam was so relaxing. I also love that the salon was very nice and clean. Very welcoming, very inviting. My hair took really, really well to the relaxer. She didn't even have to leave it in that long. And then it was time to mold. I was so excited for this part because we are getting closer to the final look. Of course, all that paper had to go on my head, and then I had to sit under the dryer honey. It was giving Betty Boop, okay? I absolutely loved that. Then she pulled the clippers out, y'all, did not know she was gonna pull those out on the back of my head. That was super exciting. And then once she got started with some curls, boom. I absolutely love my hair so much. I think it fits my face really well. You guys let me know what you think. Thank you so much, Zee. I love my hair so much. Y'all were feeling myself all day, okay?
