Hook
I gotta be honest, one of the things that pisses me off the most, and I notice it a lot when I'm in New York. Is when somebody just blatantly disrespects somebody, like, barely acknowledges that they exist. Or mistreat service, wait staff, people who are serving them, and they just mistreat them. Just blatant disrespect. And I gotta say, at a young age, and I will thank him the rest of my life. That you treat everybody from the doorman to the janitor, to the CEO, the owner of the building, exactly the same way. The way that you show people appreciation, the way that you greet them, a simple smile, an acknowledgement that they exist or that they're important. Goes the longest way on how you make people feel. And that is honestly one of the biggest leadership qualities, or one of the biggest tools for business that you could ever use. Make people feel important. You don't disrespect them, and you acknowledge their existence. It's so simple, I don't know why I notice it every single time, but it couldn't piss me off more. There will never be anything that's more important than how you make people feel.
