Okay I have to poke fun at Utah and all of our liquor laws for just a second because the name Prohibition in this state is absolutely sending me 🍸 Prohibition in Murray, Utah and I have been coming here for years for good reason. Please note this is a twenty one and older bar so plan accordingly. It is also one of the reasons I have not been as much lately with a one year old at home but I made it back and I am so glad I did. This is the perfect spot for a date night, a girls night, or a special occasion. Amazing food, really impressive cocktails, and a vibe that you genuinely cannot find many other places in Utah. For starters you honestly could just do a whole table full of starters and call it a night. The deviled eggs were so well executed, the whipped ricotta with jam and toast was incredible, but the absolute showstopper is the brussels sprouts with bacon. Oh my gosh. I cannot stop thinking about them. I asked our server for his recommendation on a main and he said the pork chop without hesitation. He was absolutely correct. So tender and so so good. Do not skip dessert. The bread pudding and the beignets are both must orders. And then there is the entertainment. We went on jazz night and the musicians were incredible - you could feel how much they love what they do. I have also been for the burlesque shows which are so fun. Get a reservation. Be twenty one.
