It's been about 4 months since I got a digital perm. So I wanted to give a little bit of a perm update. I got a perm back in April and for context, my hair is naturally pin straight. Here's a photo I constantly had to style it, always using heat by the end of the day, it would just look so greasy and disgusting. So I've always been so envious of girls that like had very textured, naturally wavy hair. I'm so jealous of you. Anyway, got the perm by my girl Liya. I will tag her below. She's amazing. And I just kind of want to share some products that I've been using. Even before the perm, I've been using the Crown Affair leave-in conditioner. This stuff is amazing. Smells so good. And then a lot of you told me to try the Crown Affair air dry cream. Also amazing. Today I did diffuse my hair. I was in a rush, wanted to give it a little extra umph, you know. Anyway, this is what I did. I did the Crown Affair leave-in conditioner when I got out of the shower. Then I put in the K18, like, hair protectant. Diffused my hair with my little Dyson diffuser. And then afterwards, I used the Olaplex number seven bonding oil. And this is what it looks like. Anyway, four month update. I love it. I definitely will be doing this again. I don't know when, but I love it too much. And if you're thinking about getting a perm, just do it. Because this is literally my version of getting Botox. It's one of the best things I've ever done. I've saved so much more time. Like I never have to do my hair and I never really put heat on my hair. It just feels so healthy and I love it. That's all.
