I wanted to show you a fun way to use silicone molds and insulation foam that might not be your traditional way of using either of these products, but when it comes to craft supplies, there really are no rules. I filled up each mold with the foam and let them set for a few hours until they completely set and then I just pop them right out. Now I definitely overfilled mine, but an easy fix, I just grabbed a knife and trimmed off the excess. Then I had some fun with all the details using a black paint pen for all the faces, some of my little ghosts even got little witch's hats. I decided to keep everything black and white with just a touch of gold for all the tiny finishing details and I love the little retro vintage vibe they ended up having. But you can color or paint them any color you want and make them completely your own. Using thick white thread and a needle and adding some black pom-poms and wood beads in between each piece to give everything a little separation. And they just turned out so cute. I hung them over my window sill, but you can hang them anywhere. It just goes to show, don't be afraid to look at your craft supplies a little differently. There are no rules when it comes to creating.
