let's recap my bachelorette trip in newport, ri this past weekend. I actually made this itinerary right here. So let's go through it. Back to the Airbnb, which is again, like a 10-minute drive and just relax. My biggest tip if you're planning a bachelorette trip is to add in relaxation. The night's activities was Castle Hill Inn, which is a gorgeous lawn. It's a massive hotel with literally one of the best views in Newport. So definitely recommend going early because they fill up fast. Or dinner if you get a reservation 30 days in advance. But we went early because they fill up fast. The best part about Castle Hill is getting a drink and relaxing on the lawn. Drinks, then we had dinner. And that night we were going out and the going out scene is back to Newport via Uber. Went to The Landing, which is a two-story bar. You can choose the bar hop because there are a couple bars around there. Saturday rolled around and we were extremely tired from the night before. Such a slow morning, which was nice because we got coffee, we got a debrief of the night. We started getting moving. We decided to go to the beach, adding a beach day after going. We actually went to Second Beach, which was a six-minute drive. First we made a stop at the sandwich shop for our lunch. We stopped at No Vacancy Coffee, which is probably one of my favorite lattes. We took our sandwiches and coffee and went to Second Beach. This was so stunning. The water was sparkly. Sat here and relaxed for two or three hours. Once we wrapped up at the beach, we went back home because we had to get ready for our polo match. Such a cool experience. If you're going to Newport during the summer, you have to go to the polo match. We all walked away saying that was our favorite experience of the entire trip. Definitely dressed up. We were all in heels, mini dresses, fun hats from Poshmark too, just to lean into the polo vibe. I booked a table where you can see eight people and they actually serve you drinks at the table, which was so nice. Once we wrapped up at the polo match, which was literally a 15-minute drive, back to town and went to dinner. We went to the lobster bar. It was good, just not amazing. But we were also tired at this point and wanted something casual, so it honestly worked out perfectly. And to end the night, we went to Seaside Scoop for some ice cream and I thought this was better than sprinkles. 100% recommend Newport, Rhode Island for your bachelorette. I think I covered everything. But let me know if you guys have any other questions.
