Since my name is Belly, I figured it was only right that I live a day in the summer I turned pretty. And what better place to do that than Newport Rhode Island. The place that we stayed in had skylights in the bedroom, which meant that we woke up at 5:00 AM. But honestly, that just meant that we were able to beat the crowd to the nitro-bar. And got there right when they opened at 7:00 AM. We ended up coming here both mornings. And both times I got the banana matcha and it was so, so good. You can really tell that they make their syrups in house. Afterwards, we headed to 2nd beach and I saw a little deer, which is my favorite animal, so it was so magical to see one here. And the beach was pretty empty since it was so early. And we did some seashell hunting. After the beach, we headed to Co-Dough for their viral sourdough cinnamon roll. And I will say, this is one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Definitely better than any I've had anywhere in New York. Cliff walk and walked around. Got to see all the mansions, and I was actually surprised by how much I really enjoyed this. Then later in the evening, it was time to get ready. And we headed to the lawn at Castle Hill for a couple drinks. I got one blueberry lemonade. And I will say, I'm the type of girl to get drunk off of one drink. Headed to Clarke Cooke House for a late night dinner. And had the most amazing dessert. The main dishes were good too, but I just have such a sweet tooth. Anyways, that was my very fun, very aesthetic day in Rhode Island. See you next time.
