Current spend: $364,000 (and climbing) Here's every dollar, broken down. No sugarcoating, just the actual cost of building a salon from a concrete shell. Safe to say we're going over our mental budget :) nnLet's do a rundown. Down payment in to walk in the door: $39,000. Lawyers: $2,000. Architect: $26,000. We actually bought this lift for $2,100 because renting one would have cost actually more. Furniture that I ordered from Alibaba: $26,000. Front desk I ordered from Alibaba: $4,800. This includes shipping. Labor for week one: $3,600. Demo labor: $2,000. And they stole $700 from me. Labor for week two: $2,200. Electrical: $145,000. That's a three installment payment but it's going to be part of the spend. We gave them $50,000 as the first payment. But we're going to floor discs to sand the floor: $8,976. Floor machine to rent: $4,600. And that one exploded. We had to re-rent it for another $4,800, which isn't included in this number. How panning spend reimburse that rental for probably another we're supposed to return that yesterday. So, be know labor, another $2,300 for special cool things that I just purchased for $5,700. Lamp shades for $4,000. For a grand total of, you know, if you add that up with all the extras, we're like $370,000. I don't know. My brain's cracked. Our budget mentally was $500,000. I don't think that's gonna... I think it's gonna be more. My husband's paying for the job. $250,000. So, you can take that for what that is. Ended $338,000 from our loan. And that's all spent.
