The reality of being a salon owner is days like this sometimes. We have a cancellation policy, clients are verbally told it and have to put their signature on an agreement that they read and understand our policy. Still we have people completely disrespect us when the policy has to be enforced. The charge was $65 and honestly how you speak to us is everything when asking someone to work with you. Commission stylist only get paid for the work they do. My job is to protect my team and my business while caring for clients. It’s a really hard dance sometimes. I’m posting this full video in my SOS group to help salon owner navigate situations like these and see how I handle these type of clients.
