This is scientifically the fastest way to learn a new language proven by science. My mom was a neurologist and she used to tell me about Stephen Krashen all the time. But who is Stephen Krashen you may wonder? He is the guy who came up with input hypothesis and he believed that your basal ganglia and procedural memory systems could actually absorb a new language and not just memorize a whole new language. So stop watching all those videos that say how to memorize 300 words, that does not work. There is a better and faster method. They call this comprehensible input. It was actually popularized in the 1970s, scientifically proven to be the fastest way to learn a new language. I took this on and started learning this method through this app called Palteca that directly applies this method through Spanish. When I went on to the app, I was very shocked to see there were zero translations. It was just people speaking to each other in Spanish. You might be wondering, well that does not make any sense. Like how are you actually supposed to learn if there is no translations? Well, according to the rules of comprehensible input, that is exactly how it is supposed to work. There should not be any translations. You are essentially learning a language the same way you did when you were first a baby. Like you don't have anything to base it off of. Through this true immersion, everything is going to eventually start to click and it will make sense. The moral of the story, if you want to learn a new language, try doing it through comprehensible input.
