So this guy discovered a method of language learning that is so effective, the U.S. government still uses it to teach our spies. And here's how you're gonna use the same method. So think about it. When you first learned your first language, how did you do it? You didn't break out any books, you didn't have any notecards. You simply listened to the language spoken around you. The basal ganglia in your little brain was downloading that language until it was able to formulate sentences. And low and behold, you were able to speak. It started off as, mama, dada, I need to go to the bathroom. And you was able to grow from there. That's called a comprehensible input. How come when we go to school, they don't teach us the same way? They break out language books. We gotta learn these phrases, we gotta learn these sentences. That's not comprehensible input, that's translation. And translation and comprehensible input use two different parts of the brain. That's why you're able to speak your native language so easily. And when you're trying to learn a second language is, oh, shoot, I gotta remember, how do you say. So the guy I showed you earlier, his name was Stephen Krashen. And he discovered that if you wanna learn a second language, you gotta repeat the same way you learned your first language. And it's through comprehensible input. This method was so effective that the U.S. government started using it as a standard to teach our spies foreign languages where they can sound native. Here's how you're gonna do the same thing. There's an app called Palteca that uses comprehensible input to teach you Spanish. So unlike other language learning apps that teach you through translation, which is a different part of your brain where you have to constantly remember. How the freak do I say that? Palteca uses comprehensible input. It activates the basal ganglia so that you can speak Spanish effortlessly. I've been using it for, like, I don't know. I've been using it for like three months now, and let me tell you something. My Spanish is on point. Estoy aprendiendo a español.
