LINDSAY CLANCY TRIAL — DAY 17 | AUGUST 20, 2026 Today’s trial was filled with sidebars…but some of the biggest moments came down to words, documentation, and what the jury may ultimately be allowed to consider. Hundreds showed up in pink. A chaplain testified about Lindsay believing her babies were safe and later describing a voice. The prosecution challenged what was…and wasn’t…documented. And attorneys spent significant time debating one word: “intoxication.” We also learned the defense is asking for involuntary manslaughter to be included as a possible lesser offense for the jury to consider.
