Only a Filipina would dare wake up her husband just to tell him about Jollibee. 🤣 Also, don’t judge us for taking almost a year to realize there’s @Jollibee USA in Florida. I kid you not, I checked as soon as I landed here, and Google Maps didn’t show any locations in our area. I never bothered to do a deeper search after that. ✨ My husband knows a dose of Jollibee every now and then keeps his Filipina wife sane. 🤣 Kidding aside, he completely understands our love for Chickenjoy, so he’s more than willing to drive, or even fly across states, just for the experience. And honestly, I think this is so important in a multicultural relationship or marriage. He knows that moving to the US doesn’t mean leaving my culture behind. I may be far from home, but he always finds ways to help me stay connected to my roots. So yes… marry the man who understands that. 🫶🏼 And just in case you’re wondering if we ever run out of things to talk about… this was only a minute and a half of what turned into a 15-minute conversation. 🤣 I wish I could share the whole thing because I can genuinely deep dive into just about any topic with this man: history, politics, physics, fashion, interior design, Philippine showbiz… you name it.
