Replying to @♡ Here’s the Jollibee Orlando update as requested! 🍗 First off, I’m so surprised by how that pillow talk video blew up. I just wanted to share a sweet and funny moment with you guys, and you were all here for it. Thank you! 💗 Secondly, we didn’t drive 7 hours to Orlando exclusively for Jollibee but it was definitely high on the list of things we did there. ☺️ So here’s the verdict: naturally, it’s a 10/10 because Jollibee runs through my Filipino veins. But here are some of my thoughts: The Chickenjoy: SPOT ON. The spicy version is actually better than the one in the Philippines. But don’t come for me on this one! I don’t usually eat the spicy Chickenjoy in the PH, but I remember it being regular Chickenjoy with spicy powder on it. The US version is spicy throughout the meat, which is why I made that comment. The gravy: Better here, and they give you A LOT of it! Or maybe I just have a weird memory, but I remember the gravy in the Philippines being less savory. Either way, I’m not complaining. The Jolly Spaghetti: Less sweet than I remember, but I get it if they adjusted the recipe to appeal more to US customers. Still very good though! The biscuits: They have biscuits and I am all for it. I can totally see why they added them to the menu. They’re also a perfect match for the Chickenjoy. But let’s be clear… nothing beats rice. The Peach Mango Pie: Just like I remember it. And naturally, it still scorched my mouth with that hot, yummy filling. Definitely a great dessert after a yummy meal! They also have pretty much everything I remember from the Philippines, including palabok, Burger Steak, and the Yumburger. So if you’re missing Jollibee from back home and you’re near Orlando, you should definitely go! I hope you guys enjoyed this continuation of our Jollibee saga in Florida! My husband and I felt like we were bringing you all along with us as we experienced the joy of being with the BEE! 🐝 Just like he said, being in the store felt like being back in Manila.
