I’ve been wanting to make this post for the longest time, but I never really felt qualified to give LDR advice until we actually closed the distance. ✨ Now that we’re on the other side of it, I wanted to share the things that genuinely helped us through six years apart. 🫶🏼 These aren’t relationship rules, and they’re definitely not the only way to make long distance work. Every couple is different, so take what resonates with you and leave what doesn’t. These are simply the things that worked for us. Six years of long distance is no walk in the park, and I don’t take that lightly. We put a lot of work into our relationship, but I also recognize how fortunate we were to be in a position where we could make it work. Looking back now, I’d go through it all over again with the same person, knowing we’d make it to the other side. If this carousel helps even one couple feel a little more hopeful or a little less alone, it’ll make me so happy. 🥹 For those of you currently in a long-distance relationship, I’m rooting for you. 💕 P.S. Our love beautifully captured by @Oak St. Studios ✨ 📸 #couple #longdistance #relationships #longdistancerelationship #ldr
