My landlord owns dozens of buildings, but he is not a steward of the public trust. It is the opposite. Since 2005, I survived three faulty eviction cases. I've lost three friends to eviction on my floor, two of whom lived on my floor. And for the past year, year and a half, our supportive housing neighbors have been dissuaded from joining our fledgling tenant union. How many evictions have you survived so far? I've survived no evictions. So far. None. Yeah. Definitely not three.
