5 things I don’t do when my goal is to drop fat and tone up: 1. Excessive cardio. More cardio isn’t automatically better. I prioritize strength training and use cardio strategically. 2. “Ab blasters”. You can strengthen your core, but endless ab exercises won’t specifically burn belly fat. Fat loss happens systemically. 3. Cut out carbs. Carbs aren’t the reason you’re not losing fat. I’d rather use them to fuel training, recovery and daily activity. 4. Take a crazy amount of supplements. Supplements can support your nutrition, but they aren’t a substitute for the basics: calories, protein, training, sleep and consistency. 5. Workout for 1+ hour every day. You don’t need to live in the gym. A well-structured 30–60 minute strength session can be more productive than hours of random workouts.
