This is everything we had for dinner this week as a married couple who prioritize eating at home during the week, but also likes to eat out on the weekends. On Sunday night, I made these white chicken chili and chili and chili. This original recipe came from Luke Brown or cooking in the Midwest. And I also posted it on my page earlier this week to go with it. I made this rice that tastes exactly like the rice you would get at a Mexican restaurant. This dinner was super yum and it made a ton of food. So we ended up having leftovers for dinner the next night. Plus we each got two work lunches out of it. Since I only cook for two people, it's really easy to have leftovers and we love that so we don't have to cook every single night. On Tuesday night, my husband made this cheese steak pasta on the black stone. I've posted this recipe video before and I can definitely repost it if you're interested. This is really good and super easy to throw together. Plus if you have a black stone, it makes it even easier because there's hardly any cleanup in the kitchen. This cheese steak pasta is just some of the Gary's quick steak thinly sliced sirloin with some diced up peppers and onions, provolone cheese and Worcestershire sauce. I hate trying to say that word on here because I always get corrected. Anyway, let me know if you'd like this recipe. When I rehearsed the leftovers the following night, I did it on the stove in a pan on medium heat. I just dumped the leftover pasta in there and I added a little bit of extra worcestershire sauce. Whenever I'm reheat it food this way, I like to add a little bit of whatever liquid I used in the original recipe, just so the leftovers don't dry out. If you've been avoiding eating leftovers because you don't like the way it tastes when it's in the microwave, I'm begging you to try a different method of reheat it your food. I hate microwave pasta because I feel like sometimes it gets kind of gummy and weird, but this pasta I'm also I'm going to say that I'm going to be one or the other. And Ristorante's ranch is the best ranch. On Friday night, we did a little date night at Hero 88 in the Old Market. We ended up getting a whole bunch of appetizer, so we honestly didn't eat very much of our actual entree, which worked out really well because we were able to have that for dinner on Saturday night. I rehearsed my sesami chicken and the leftover crab and beans in the air fryer and it turned out pretty good. This week may have been my first week back at work after summer break. But this week is our first week officially back with students, but I'm going to try really hard to stick to my dinner plan.
