What type of person will end up in hell?

What type of person will end up in hell? The person who wants to live their life separate from God. The person who basically says, I'm not interested in intimacy with God. I'm not interested in growing a relationship with God. I'm going to live my life as if God is dead. As if God doesn't exist. Really? How would that feel to you if I said, you know, you really don't exist? And I'm going to ignore you for eternity. That is so rude, it's incredible. It is so rebellious. And hell is God's great compliment to the reality of human freedom. If I say God, you don't exist, you will say, fine, I won't exist in your life for eternity. Those who want to live with God will spend eternity together with him. Those who want to live separate from God will spend eternity separate from him. The second type of person who will be in hell is a person who insists upon rebelling against God. And that's fun. It's fun to rebel against authority. It's fun to flex my muscles and say, I'm in charge. Well, people in hell will be in charge for eternity. I think I know the theme song of hell. I did it my way. And God will say to those people, you can do it your way for eternity. That'll be hell. The third kind of person is the church lady. The church man. And what I mean by that are those who are all about every little jot and tittle when it comes to religiosity, but offer no grace, no love towards other people. I never forget one time, I pull up to this mega church parking lot. I parked in one line, and the whole lot was empty because there were no services going on. And I was barely touching one line in this parking spot, this mega church parking lot that could fit 700 empty parking spots. And this church lady comes running out of the building, frustrated out of her mind that I was touching the line and I was in one of these 700 empty parking spots. Now, I think she was a genuine believer, but it kind of gives you a little bit of the example of how caught up are you if you're a very religious person, you've been a Christian your whole life, but it's all about the rules and it's all about working my way to heaven and it's all about other people are doing it the wrong way. And there's no grace, there's no love towards other people. C.S. Lewis and many other Christian authors pick up on this idea where those kinds of people will miss heaven completely because they are so caught up in looking at people as boring or even disgusting and looking at the rules in the right way, thinking that that is going to get them into heaven. And God will say to those people, you can live it your way for eternity. That'll be hell.
